A New Type of Tea Rises from the East
A relaxing cup of Blooming Tea is my personal favourite of all the Green Tea varieties that I have had the pleasure of trying.
Perfectly hand crafted with loose leaf green tea, inter-weaved with various miraculous, health promoting flower petals.
These teas start as a ball of loose leaf green tea. As soon as these blooming balls are steeped in hot water, the green tea leaves open up, exposing a floral work of art, infusing the tea with nature’s bounty in flavour.
The flavour infused by the additional flower petals really contrasts with some of the natural bitterness of the Green Tea, making this slightly sweet to the palate.
In the true tradition of Green Tea, and all the associated health benefits, these additional components in blooming teas are selected for maximum health quality and flavour.
I sat awe struck as I watched my first Blooming Tea unfold in front of me. The green leaves slowly came loose, as they expanded outwards, allowing the Lily and Jasmine petals to extend out into the warm water.
The real surprise came when I tasted this paranormal brew. Of course all ingredients are 100% natural and organic.
Wow, what an explosion of subtle flavours.
I have since found various types of Blooming Tea. The various plants and petals that are used substantially enhance the flavour and the health benefits of drinking normal Green Tea.
Not only as a
Green Tea beverage, that can be steeped several times, but also as a decoration that could replace a bunch of flowers in a corner, or on a desk.
Display Tea Balls, as they have come to be known by, are not only delicious and refreshing, but can also be placed in a vase to brighten up a gloomy corner.
After drinking the brew, the flower can be placed in a vase or wine glass with cold water. This keeps the flower looking fresh for around 5 days. This can be extended for a couple of days by changing the water regularly.
Did I mention that these teas also make a unique gift? The novelty will last seemingly forever as your recipient is amazed each time they watch a different work of art slowly unfold.
